Year 12 Camp

Scaling new heights on the Giant Swing and Twin Flying Fox, enhancing control and marksmanship in Laser Strike and Archery, and building teamwork and communication skills across Raft Making and Team Rescue – our 2026 Year 12 cohort had a fantastic time at the Phillip Island Adventure Resort for their final school camping experience.
Across the three days, students threw themselves into every challenge on offer. Whether working as a team to carry a mannequin across an obstacle course during Team Rescue, taking aim on the archery range, racing through the bush in a high-energy game of Laser Strike, or facing their fears on the Giant Swing or Twin Flying Fox, there was no shortage of laughter, friendly competition and moments of personal growth. The raft-building sessions proved to be a highlight too, with groups designing, tying, testing and (sometimes) rebuilding their creations as they attempted to float around lake without capsizing.
Alongside the adventure activities, students engaged in team-building workshops and careers sessions designed to support their transition into Year 12. These sessions helped the cohort reflect on their strengths, set goals, and consider what success might look like in their final year of school.
Despite the hot weather, students remained sun smart and stayed active throughout the camp. Our morning Run Club gained impressive momentum, with both staff and students choosing to start each day with a jog or walk around the lake before breakfast. Between scheduled activities, the group also enjoyed ball games and plenty of downtime to relax, reconnect and make memories.
It was a wonderful camp that brought the cohort together, encouraged resilience, and created lasting moments as our Year 12s prepare for an exciting 2026.
