Students in Ceramics 02 and 04 have started their ceramic pinch pot hand-building skills. They have been busy in the ceramic studio creating their pinch pot monsters. They will look awesome when completed but here is a sneak peek!

Unit 2 Art Making and Exhibiting students explored how artists develop style in their work, during this task students observed and discussed the aesthetic qualities used by Vincent Van Gogh before recreating The Starry Night. These are some of the student examples of this exercise. 

Art Making and Exhibiting students in year 11 and 12 attended the French Impressionism Exhibition at the NGV International on the 30th of July. 

Our Student’s were fantastic, they listened attentively during the educator talk. Answered questions and discussed what they had been doing in the back in the classroom when asked by the educator John. 

Students now will be able to complete the relevant outcome that was linked to the exhibition visit.
