As we begin Term 3, it’s a great time to remind our young men to take ownership of their learning by being organised and prepared for each school day. Arriving to class with the right materials, a focused mindset, and a readiness to engage sets a strong foundation for academic growth. These habits not only help boys manage their workload more effectively but also build confidence and resilience. Please take a moment to speak with your son about the importance of starting the term well—being prepared, staying on top of tasks, and making the most of every lesson.
SET Plan Interviews are continuing into Term 3. These interviews provide an opportunity to discuss students’ future pathways and subject selections for Year 11 and 12. Both students and a parent/carer are required to attend. Parents will have selected which round of these interviews will suit them best and made a booking via the Parent/Teacher booking system on the Parent Orbit App. Information was emailed to parents last term.
For Boarding families, interviews can be arranged via Teams or face to face, depending on your circumstances.
9ASH lessons at the end of Term 2 focused on Year 10 subjects. Year 9 students have investigated pathway planning and subject offerings in Year 10. Here are some key dates for our Year 9 students:
More information will be provided to students via the Academic Care Team early in Term 3.
Please find here a list of Old Boys who are available to tutor your son outside of school hours. This list can also be located on the parent portal or via this link. Please note it is the parent’s responsibility to organise and liaise tutoring times with the Old Boys.
