elebrating NAIDOC Week!

NAIDOC Week, which we celebrated during the school holidays, was a super important time for all of to learn about and honor the amazing history, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It was a special chance for us to think about how we can all work together for a better future, understand different perspectives, and show our respect for the traditional owners of our land. Naidoc week reminded us of all the wonderful ways that First Nations communities have shaped, and continue to shape, our country. We celebrate their incredible contributions and will continue to integrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture into our Program of Inquiry.

Upcoming Parent Events: Get Involved and Build Our Community!

As Semester 2 kicks off, we're excited for parents to get involved in upcoming school events! We're putting out a special call for volunteers for our Working Bee on August 30th. The more hands we have, the more we can achieve in making our school an even better place. For a fantastic night of fun and connection, mark your calendars for the Parent Social Night featuring Nineties Bingo on August 16th—it's sure to be a blast! Your involvement, whether it's an hour at the Working Bee or a night out at the social, sends a powerful message to our students about the importance of community and actively participating in their learning journey. We truly value your support in helping to create a vibrant and engaged school community.
