From Camp to Couple: Melody and Joshua's Story

Melody and Joshua Oettinger (WS 2020) celebrated their joyous union in Christ through marriage on 10 July 2024. They held a beautiful ceremony at Crossway Chapel, which Joshua’s dad helped design, followed by a reception dinner at the stunning SkyHigh, atop Mount Dandenong.

Melody and Joshua met when they were 13 and 14 at a family holiday camp where Joshua fell head over heels for her. After waiting five years, they began dating after finishing Year 12. A few short years later, Joshua proposed to Melody at the same place they met, and they were married six months afterwards. Now, over 12 months into their marriage, Joshua reflects on the past year as the greatest of his life so far.

Here’s to many more years ahead, pursuing Christ together!
