School Council Election Process and Timetable
I am pleased to announce the commencement of the Inaugural School Council Election.
We have vacancies for 3 parent/carer members, 2 student members and 1 DE employee.
Please see the timeline and process below:

| Date by which the list of candidates and nominators will be posted | Friday 20th February |
| Date by which ballot papers will be prepared and distributed | On or before Thursday 26th February |
| Close of ballot | Friday 6th March |
| Vote count | Tuesday 10th March |
| Declaration of poll | Wednesday 10th March |
| Special council meeting to co-opt community members (the principal will preside) | Thursday 12th March |
| First council meeting to elect office bearers (the principal will preside) | Wednesday 18th March |
Parent voting for the School Council is your opportunity to have a say in how our school is run. By voting, you help choose representatives who will support the school and represent the interests of all families. Your voice matters.
Voting Instructions
You may vote for up to three candidates by placing a cross next to their names. The ballot closes at4.00pm on Friday 6th March.
Voting in Person
- Place the completed ballot paper in ablank envelope.
- Either:
- Put this inside a second envelope with your name and address and deliver it to the authorised person between 8.00am and 4.00pm on any school day up to 6th March, or
- Place it in the ballot box and print your name and address in the register.
Voting by Post
- Place the ballot paper in a blank envelope, then into a second envelope.
- Write your name and address on the back of the outer envelope.
- Post to the Principal to arrive by 4.00pm on Friday 6th March.
