Celebrating Harmony Week 2026: "Everyone Belongs" 

As we mark Harmony Week (Monday 16 – Sunday 22 March 2026), Hampshire House has been alive with vibrant orange spirit and joyful, meaningful learning centred on this year’s powerful theme, “Everyone Belongs.” 

Our children have embraced diversity and inclusion through a wonderful range of age-appropriate, hands-on activities that spark curiosity and connection. In the Preschool Yellow class, the children collaborated on a stunning world mural that celebrates belonging, with colourful elements representing global unity and friendship. Meanwhile, our Preschool Grey class created beautiful multicultural patterns inspired by self-portraits, and shared heartfelt family stories, songs, and traditions that brought smiles and new discoveries. In Our Margaret White Toddlers room, the children have been exploring friendship and hands across the world. For our youngest in the Nursery, it has been an exciting sensory adventure experimenting with orange cellophane, textured materials, and play that gently introduces the message “I belong, you belong, we all belong!” through touch, light, and colour.

These experiences matter deeply because even our youngest children naturally notice differences in appearance, language, food, clothing, and traditions. By celebrating them openly and positively, we nurture empathy, build confidence in their own identities, foster genuine respect for others, and strengthen a true sense of belonging for everyone. Early positive encounters like these lay the foundation for kinder, more inclusive hearts. This hey help our children grow into respectful, compassionate individuals who naturally stand against exclusion and embrace diversity throughout their lives.

Our little ones have already shown us what real harmony looks like through their wide-eyed curiosity, thoughtful questions and shared laughter.
