2024 Mackillop Athletics Championships

On Wednesday 25th of September, Stella Micalizzi (Year 4) represented our school at the Mackillop Athletics Championships as part of the Sydney Catholic Schools team. 

Stella ranked 11th overall in the Junior Girls Long Jump event, securing 2nd place among the 9-year-olds. 

We are incredibly proud of her achievements, well done Stella! 

Jump Rope for Heart - THANK YOU

We hope you had fun and enjoyed seeing how far our students have come with their

 skipping skills at the Jump off Day Showcase last term. St Francis Xavier's achieved a lot in a few short weeks, raising a total of $13,794!

The funds raised go a long way at the Heart Foundation, helping to fund: 

• Research on heart disease and how we can work towards preventing it,
• Doctors who can help treat people with sick hearts, and
• Education, so Australians know how to take care of their hearts and bodies.

Even though our school has finished Jump Rope for Heart 2024, I hope we can all continue to practise our skipping skills and exercise our hearts every day. By doing this, we are continuing to help the Heart Foundation achieve their goal of a heart disease-free Australia.
