Congratulations to our students who received the Sacrament of First Eucharist on the weekend. I hope you had a wonderful celebration with family and friends and know you are a special part of our St Mark's parish community. Thanks to Mr Davies and the 3/4 staff who supported our students to prepare for this special occasion and to all the staff who came along to be part of this step in our children's faith journey.
Don't forget that there is NO SCHOOL for students on Monday 4th November and Tuesday 5th November. Team Kids will be running a program on Monday 4th November for those families who need care for their children, but there is no care available on Tuesday 5th November due to the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday.
On Wednesday 6th November at 6.00 p.m. we will be holding an information night for families with children starting in foundation next year who are new to our school. We look forward to welcoming them to our St Mark's community.
We took out silver again at the Maths Games Day today with our Year 6 team. Ryan N also took out the mental maths giant gold medal and three of our students won Kmart vouchers for figuring out the mystery number in their rounds. Keegan Nguyen did particularly well in that round and came second for his mental maths heat, which was really impressive seeing as he is in Year 4 and was competing against students in Years 5 and 6. It was a great day!
We are thrilled to invite you to join us at our End-of-Year Concert on Tuesday 10th December 2024, at St Marks Primary School. This special event will highlight the musical growth of our talented students as they perform alongside their peers, family and friends.
