Acting Principal's Message
Thank you St Andrew's Community!
Another fun week has flown by at St Andrew's!
Next week we have St Andrew's Got Talent on Tuesday (details below)- we cannot wait to see the show! Thank you to Emma Cooper who has worked so hard to prepare for this special event! And good luck to all of the performers who have worked so hard to prepare for the event.
We also have out first Prep Transition session on Wednesday 30th October. We look forward to welcoming our new and returning families into our beautiful school.
Today is World Teachers’ Day. A HUGE thank you to all of our amazing teachers. The dedication and care they show to our students while working hard to educate, inspire and empower them every day.
A reminder that this Saturday is the Parish Fun Fair.
Starting at 10am till 4.00pm there will be fun for the whole family!
At no time should parents be driving into the school grounds to drop their children off. The safety of all children and families must be our priority and we ALL need to do the right thing.
NEIGHBOURHOOD PARKING:
Please be mindful of our neighbours if you are parking near the school: do not block driveways and please obey the parking signs.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN STAFF CAR PARK:
We are noting that families are still parking in the staff car park on Springs Road, particularly in the mornings when staff are arriving at school. We ask again that you do not park in the staff car park when dropping students off in the morning or picking up in the afternoon.
Due to the postponement of last Saturday's Working Bee, we will hold it on Saturday November 30th.
As we continue the planning process for the 2025 school year, we would greatly appreciate if families could notify the school if your child/ren will not be returning to St. Andrew's in 2025 as soon as possible.
Any current families that are yet to enrol 2025 Prep students are asked to do so as a priority as our 2025 Prep Transition begins next Wednesday and we would like all new Prep families to be involved in this program.
The aim of this competition is to showcase and celebrate our amazing talents! Students will perform in front of the school community.
All parents and extended family members are welcome to attend.
St Andrew’s Got Talent Performance

Parents need to complete this request form if your child needs medication to be administered at school. The Principal or nominated staff member must approve ongoing and regular administration of medication (over the counter or prescription) by the school.
Please ensure that the medication brought to school is in its original package with original labels.
The Allan Labor Government is making life that little bit easier for families by providing a one-off $400 School Saving Bonus.
Non-government school students who will be in Prep through to Year 12 in 2025, and who are receiving the means-tested Camps, Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF), are eligible for the School Saving Bonus.
Parents and Carers do not need to apply. The School Saving Bonus will be paid to non-government schools for eligible students from late November 2024.
The $400 School Saving Bonus is available for each child. That means an eligible family with three school-aged children will receive a total of $1,200.
Importantly, the School Saving Bonus is available in addition to the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund.
As we plan ahead for 2025 classes, we ask any families who know that they will not be returning to St. Andrew's in 2025 to inform the school as soon as possible by clicking on the button below and filling in the form or email me at nblack@saclaytonsth.catholic.edu.au
HAVE YOU ENROLLED YOUR CHILD FOR PREP 2025?
If you have a child ready for Prep 2025, we encourage you to please put in an enrolment form as soon as possible. This will help us with organisation purposes. To access an enrolment form:
The 2024 School Calendar is available on the School Website. It can be found mid-way down on the front page under the heading ‘WHAT’S ON’. We will endeavour, where possible, to remain true to the dates on the 2024 calendar. We recommend that parents regularly visit the school website to see updates on all school events.
