Year 7 Cricket

Last week, the Year 7 boys proudly represented St Brigid's at the Greater Western Region cricket tournament in Ballarat, playing four thrilling matches. The team got off to a great start, chasing down a massive 68 runs in the opening game, including Hugh Miller hitting a 4 to win the game on the final ball. The following two games offered opportunities for wins, but run-outs and sundries led to close losses. Unable to make the finals, the team finished off the day with a reversed bowling and batting order. In the final game, it was great to see their team spirit as they all celebrated each other. The team had a great day and are eager to improve and compete again in Year 8.
