SJB Grandparents Day/Book Fair
We are excited to celebrate Grandparents' Day tomorrow.
This day is a special opportunity to honour the wisdom, love, and faith that grandparents bring to our families. Their role in shaping the faith journey of their grandchildren is invaluable. We look forward to warmly welcoming all grandparents & great people and parents. Those students unable to have a grandparent visit are welcome to invite another great person in their lives. This is one of our biggest events of the year and we are all excited. Please ensure the following information is passed on to visiting grandparents or great people.
Timetable:
● 11:30am: Outdoor Liturgy
● 12:15pm: Classroom visits (If visiting more than one student, please remember to allow enough time during classroom visits to see all of the grandchildren within the allocated 45-minute time frame)
● 1:00pm: Grandparents are invited to a picnic lunch. BYO lunch and treats for lunch with the grandchildren. You might like to bring a picnic chair and/or blanket as well.
● 1:45pm Students may go home:
- with a parent if they are on the school site.
- with a grandparent if written permission from a parent has been provided to the school office via email by today.
- students need to be signed out with the class teacher who will be available on the concrete area.
● 2:55pm: Normal dismissal time for student remaining at school
