Over the last few weeks, I have had some great opportunities to see our students living life to the full!
The NSW Catholic Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Conference was a great learning experience for me. I was very proud of our students who represented us at Myall Creek on Day 1 of the conference.
Our transitions have given our Year 6 and our new kindergarten students a taste of the next phase of their learning. It is great to see so many happy future students joining us!
Crazy Sock Day was a hit for all - staff, students and even some Kinder transitions students!
I also went along to the Vinnie Sleepout! Great group of students having fun and enjoying something different!
I was also happy we could go to Tenterfield Horsesports and I enjoyed my visit to the Primary Diocesan Touch Carnival. Our students were happy winning, losing and tying and just being part of an HTS sporting team. I was proud of their sportsmanship and their smiles.
Perhaps my most favourite was KD's Prayer Celebration on God's Creation. Such a wonderful experience. My heart was full!
We have received copies of a number of warning letters and suspensions from both bus companies in town. Students who travel on school buses must adhere to the NSW Department of Transport behaviour guidelines otherwise they may be suspended from travel. We encourage our students to be respectful and safe on the bus. If your child travels on the bus please take the time to read the attached flyer so they are clear of the expectations.
The Armidale Diocese offers financial support for students entering Year 7 until they complete Year 12. If you are interested please read the information attached. Bursary applications close on 29 November.
We have had reports of staff and students testing positive for Covid-19. Please monitor any symptoms and test your child if you suspect flu-like symptoms. Students may return to school when they are symptom free.
We are working on our class plans for 2025. Please inform Cathy Dyer or myself if you intend to leave Holy Trinity at the end of 2024 so we can give you the required paperwork to complete. We have had a number of enrolment applications and some of our year groups are getting close to full.
The start of the 2025 school year looks different for HTS compared to our local public schools. Please note:
Thursday 30th and Friday 31st January - Staff Development Days
Monday 3rd February - Year 1-10 start
Have a great fortnight! Contact me via the Front Office or email me at jrainger@arm.catholic.edu.au
