Debating

After an excellent season debating in the Peakhurst Public School Premier's Debating Team, Willow Parry has continued to shine in the debating field. She was selected to be a member of the Sydney Region team at the Primary Schools State Debating Championships where she debated with her fellow team members against other regions across New South Wales. 

After months of training, Willow joined her team this week to compete at the championships.  She, along with her teammates, shone throughout their early rounds and progressed through the preliminary finals to make it to the grand final. The grand final was a thrilling debate. Willow and her team debated exceptionally and came away with the win. 

Well done to Willow for representing the school in an exceptional way and being part of such a brilliant achievement. We are all very proud of you. Thank you to Daniel Judd from Leichardt Public School for guiding the students and providing this amazing opportunity.
