WORLD TEACHER'S DAY – FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER

World Teacher’s Day is an opportunity to say thank you to the teachers who continue to make a difference today – and everyday – to children and young people’s lives. 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful teachers of Box Hill North Primary School and Kindergarten. Our teachers are dedicated to striving for the best for every one of our students, and bring a passion and energy to school like no other. Thank you - all of you - for the meaningful work you complete each and every day. Our students are so lucky to have you at BHNPSK!

We will be celebrating World Teacher’s Day as a staff on Thursday 24th October, with a morning tea and a masseuse all day! If any parents would like to show their appreciation for our wonderful teachers, you are more than welcome to do so, by either contributing to our morning tea on Thursday, or having your child make a card or gift for their teacher, or even both! 

UNIFORMS

We have noticed some students coming to school in clothes that aren’t our school uniform. Please ensure students are wearing Box Hill North Primary School uniform to school each day.  Please find details of our accepted school uniform below.  Please note, our uniform shop is open every Friday morning 8.30-9.30am or order online here.

FOUNDATION 2025 TRANSITION

We are very excited to welcome our 2025 Prep students into school for Transition Sessions this year. During these Transition sessions, we will be offering parent information sessions and morning tea in our Community Room. A schedule of these Parent Information Sessions will be distributed to all enrolled families next week. 

2025 Prep Information Night - Thursday 28th November, 5.30pm-6.30pm

We will also hold a 2025 Prep Information Night on Thursday 28th November, 5.30pm-6.30pm.  We look forward to meeting with as many of our 2025 Prep parents as possible at this event. Tea/Coffee/Biscuits will be provided.

CURRICULUM DAY - MONDAY 4th NOVEMBER

A reminder to all families that Monday 4th November will be a Student-Free Curriculum Day. This day will be used for teachers to complete Semester 2 Reporting requirements. We hope that our families enjoy a long weekend in (hopefully) lovely weather!
