A big thank you for being part of our Parent-Teacher Conferences. We loved meeting with you and celebrating your children's achievements.
Our specialist teachers (except for Caeleigh as she has completed her conferences) Gina (Italian), Sarah (Visual Arts) and Sherree (Performing Arts) will be completing their conferences on the following days:

5AJ Conferences will be held on Tuesday 13th August from 1:30 - 6:30pm. A booking link and further information has been emailed to families of 5AJ this week (students will have a normal school day on this day).

Our NAPLAN results have finally arrived. They will be sent home with our Year 3 and 5 students this week. All of our students should be so proud of their efforts. Please take the time to celebrate your child's achievement with them.
Please keep these reports in a safe place as most High Schools require a copy of these reports when you apply for a position at the school.
LAST DAYS TO SIGN UP FOR ICAS 2024 for English or Maths.
Holy Spirit has signed up for both the English and Mathematics ICAS Assessments in 2023. These tests will be completed at school, during school hours, and are not compulsory to complete. You may enter your child in one or both of the English and Mathematics ICAS Assessments. Students must be in Years 3 - 6 to have the opportunity to sit these assessments.
Testing Date period
English: Monday 12th - Friday 16th August
Mathematics: Monday 26th August - Friday 30th August
Our school has signed up for the ICAS Assessments Parent Payment System (PPS) for (English & Mathematics). Through this system parents can pay for ICAS directly online while tests will still be held at our school.
Please use the following details to register your child/children by no later than Monday 29th July. Each test will cost $19.95 (inc. GST) per child per test. Payment is required at the time of registration.
Please note that unfortunately late payments for assessments are not available. The school cannot extend this time or sign students up later as the enrolment process is completed through the ICAS Parent Payment System website.

Follow the steps to register your child/children in one or both of the English & Mathematics assessments. Finalise enrolment, payment and save. The information of enrolment will then be sent to the school. Please ensure that your child’s information is accurate and current as this is what you will see on the final certificate and report documentation.
A permission slip will be sent home to all families that enrol their child/children into an English and/or Mathematics ICAS Assessment closer to the assessment date.
We are proud to offer the ICAS Assessments, and look forward to celebrating some fantastic results later in the year.
How exciting!! The Premiers’ Reading Challenge for 2024 is up and running!

Your child is invited to take part in the PRC challenge for this year. Please note this is not compulsory and your child does not have to take part if they do not wish to.
We can't wait to hear about all the magical adventures our students go on throughout this challenge!

Assembly will be held each Friday at 2:30pm in the school hall. All dates for Assembly this term are on the Holy Spirit School Calendar.
We have lots of changes to the timetable for this term. We will endeavour to share an updated timetable, via the School Dojo account, each week.
Our students will visit the library each week and borrow. Students need to bring their library bag to school on their library day to borrow. The timetable for this term is below:
The library will be open each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning from 8:35 - 8:50am.
