Our latest news and S.T.A.R. students of the Week
Our current student leadership policy and practices are due for a review. This includes positions such as our school captains,
Whilst we believe we are doing some of this well we are certain we can do better. Essentially we would like to ensure that we articulate a plan that is inclusive, comprehensive and aspirational for students. It should also offer rigour and clarity as to the appointment process.
If you would like to assist by being part of a working party please let us know. We would envisage this would involve attendance face to face or virtual) at 3-4 meetings and some reading in between. We would hope to have recommendations ready by the end of the term.
If you would like to prepare a written submission you are also welcome to do this and it will be shared with the working party.
Last term the Grade Six students and teachers started a school snack drive for the not-for-profit charity, Eat Up - https://www.eatup.org.au
We are asking for your support by donating some school snacks to help this amazing charity (please note that Eat Up has asked for snacks to have no chocolate or nuts).
The CEO from Eat Up, Lyndon, is coming to our school in week 3 during assembly to collect the snacks.
