Congratulations to our 5/6 Girls Netball Team and Coach Cleary for winning the Dendy Lightning Premiership last week. 

What a fantastic show of sportsmanship and skill. 

Well done team! 👏

Netball Lightning Premiership

On Thursday the 13th of June all of the Year 5s and 6s went to the Dendy District Interschool Netball Lightning Premiership. There were 3 divisions: Girls, Mixed A and Mixed B. 

All three teams competed well and showed a lot of sportsmanship throughout the day.

The girl's netball team won the grand final of the Netball Lightning Premiership.

In the netball team, we had: Lenny, Harriet, Alyssia, Frances, Cataleya, Sophie, Alexis, Pip, Bridget, and Lucy. We had to play 5 games, and we lost one game out of all the rounds we played and that was against St Joan of Arc and we had to play them in the grand final.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

It was a very tight game and in the last minute we were tied 5-5 then in the last half we broke the tie and shot a goal in the last 18 seconds and we won 5-6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A huge thank you to Mr Gava for organising the day and Mr Cleary, our coach. We couldn't have done it without your short passes!
