Confirmation Candidates

On Tuesday, our Grade 6 students attended a Confirmation Retreat at Mary Mackillop College along with St Joseph’s year sixes and students from other schools who are making their Confirmation next term. The day was run by Miss Dudman's Senior Youth Ministry students. We met in the chapel and enjoyed the following activities:

• We learnt about Spirit-filled people.
• We reflected on a scripture reading about the Holy Spirit through guided meditation.
• We participated in a liturgy where the Confirmation candidates were invited to attend individual Reconciliation.
• We revised the rituals of the Confirmation ceremony that the candidates will perform at their Confirmation Mass on July 25. 
• We drank a Sacramental Milkshake.

We are grateful to the Mary Mackillop Youth Ministry students and Miss Dudman for inviting us to their school to reflect on our lives and encourage us to 'live Jesus' by being spirit-filled people.
