GRADE 3 CAMP
GRADE 3 CAMP ADANAC
On Tuesday the 11th and Wednesday the 12th of June, our Grade 3 students embarked on their first school camp to Camp ADANAC. For many of them, it was their first time away from home and they did an amazing job!
The children enjoyed a variety of exciting activities, including the low ropes course, hut building, photo hunt, disc golf, aqua ponding and camp cooking. Many conquered their fears with activities like canoeing, archery, and the flying fox. Despite the first round of activities being interrupted by rain, the children showed incredible resilience and patience as we moved to inside activities. Thankfully, the weather cleared up, and we were able to enjoy all the outdoor fun for the rest of camp.

Anika - “My favourite thing about camp was the flying fox because it was so high up and it felt like I was flying.”
Roni - “I liked archery because it was my first time trying it and most of us hit a bullseye.”

Yaakov - “I really liked aqua ponding, canoeing and archery. I liked Archery because I finally got to learn how to use a bow and arrow and shoot the target.”
Neve - “My highlight was the flying fox because I got to go over the lake!”

Haley - “My highlight was hut building because we got to go into the forest and work together to guild a spacious hut. Lucky Miss Scott did not dump water on us because we would have gotten soaked!”
Amelia -“My favourite thing was archery because you got to shoot a bow and arrow and I had never done that before. It was fun!”

James - “My favourite activity was canoeing. It was really fun and we played a game where we got to row around and bump into other people’s canoes.”
Natalie - “I liked the flying fox being it was really high and fast. I liked going over the lake.”
