Acknowledgement of Country

On behalf of the teachers and staff at Valkstone Primary School, I would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land that we gather on to learn, the people of the South-Eastern Kulin Nation. I would like to express my respect for and continuing commitment to the laws of Bunjil – respecting ourselves, others and the land. I would also like to pay my respects to all elders past and present.

Here at Valkstone, we gather in this special place as curious learners, to continue our learning journey together. I would like to express my appreciation to all of the Valkstone Community for being curious learners and for supporting each other to heal Country.
