Deanery Athletics Carnival

With Jubilee Park under renovation, we made our way to the Wiradjuri Track. It was a gorgeous setting with beautiful gum trees surrounding the venue. It was unusual in that there were a few ups and downs in the running track! We had a very enthusiastic team this year with everyone competing in all of the events that they entered. 

Particular congratulations goes to Maria who finished first in the 12yrs girls high jump and Paxton who finished first in the junior shot put. Kylie Bradley expertly ran the shot put event covering our school's duty for the day. Thank you to all of the kids for competing and just as importantly, their parents for getting them there and supporting them in their efforts.
