Hamilton Eisteddfod

It has been a huge week of music for Collegian musicians at the Hamilton Eisteddfod. Congratulations to everyone who has performed on their instrument of choice or sang. Every student has been a wonderful ambassador for the school, and we are enormously proud of you. 

Stepping out on stage, in front of an audience is daunting - whether it is your first time or if you are a seasoned musician trying something new.  Each time you do it, you improve your skills and gain confidence that translates to all areas of life and learning.

This week alone, we had 124 entries (solos and ensembles) participating in 64 sections, of a possible 101 sections. This is an incredible representation of the commitment to the College music program and the dedication to our music staff.  

Good luck to our singers tomorrow, who will be concluding week one of the Eisteddfod, and well wishes to our College dancers who will be gracing the stage from Monday.
