Level 4

It’s hard to believe how quickly our first term has flown by. The students in Level 4 have settled into the year beautifully and we have already seen so much growth. The HEPS values and expectations have been on display and we are so happy to see so many great relationships being formed.

Our Level 4 students have certainly been working hard throughout the term. After a great Positive Start program that set out our expectations, our reading focused on summarising, making connections, author’s purpose and visualisation. Our writing has seen our students produce some great narratives and persuasive pieces. In maths, we have worked through place value, 2D and 3D shapes, length, area and perimeter. Inquiry has seen us researching our culture and heritage, presenting our work with the use of Google slides. We look forward to sharing some of our work with our family and friends in our 3 Way conferences.
