EDUCATION PERFECT

All our language leaders and language teachers are going to be very busy over the next two weeks running recess and lunchtime sessions for the Education Perfect Championships. We hope to beat Amaroo School in Canberra this year!

MORE NEW LANGUAGE LEADERS 

Our McKinnon Rd Language Leaders have decided that they would like to introduce some of our Year 7 students to the role and are currently running interviews for new language leaders. We look forward to being able to share their names with you soon.

BUSY TIME IN CLASSROOMS

All our language classes are busy preparing for assessments - please encourage them to work on revising vocabulary and undertake extension tasks that are provided to them.

Regular lunchtime practices are being run at East, led by Mme Howard and la maman de Mme Howard. Thanks to them and good luck to our competitors as they prepare!

VOCABULARY

A major focus in all language classrooms this semester has been on how to learn vocabulary effectively. We all learn in different ways, so at East Campus, we have been providing our students with alternatives that they can adapt to their learning styles. If you find sticky note labels in the target language popping up around your home - please enjoy learning some new words yourself!
