Welcome back to Term 2! We hope everybody had a restful and relaxing break and are looking forward to getting stuck into another jam-packed term. This term is an 11 week term, and with the mornings getting colder, it is certainly much harder to get out of bed! We encourage the ‘Creekers’ to look after themselves by dressing appropriately for the weather (school jumpers, pants and jackets), and to ensure they are getting plenty of rest after school and on the weekends so that we can get through the term together!
Term 2 in Action
This term we will continue to reinforce the expectations from Term 1, as well as further dive into the English and Mathematics curriculum. The students will continue to have breakfast and a learning task before recess, before they split into their respective year levels for English and Maths in periods 3 and 4. The afternoons will continue to be at the Main Campus for electives.
Morning Activity: | Elective: | |
Monday | Project-based learning | Home Eco |
Tuesday | Health | PE |
Wednesday | Social & Emotional Learning | Art |
Thursday | Movement | Music |
Friday | Walk | Media |
Change of Season - Winter Uniform
In Terms 2 and 3, the students are encouraged to wear their school jumpers and jackets to keep warm. They are not required to wear hats, however, if they wish to wear a beanie, it needs to be navy blue (with no logos) in accordance with our school uniform policy.
Please reach out to us if you need any assistance in ensuring your child has the correct uniform.

Welcome back, students and families!
As we enter Term 2, we also embrace a change in seasons and recognize that some students may face increased challenges in attending school. If your child is experiencing difficulties in getting to school, please don't hesitate to contact our staff to discuss potential solutions.
ABSENCES
Regarding absences, if your child is unable to attend school for any reason, kindly inform their teacher. This allows us to maintain accurate attendance records and ensure that any missed days do not hinder your child's academic progress.
TRANSITIONS
Transition periods are underway for some students as they embark on new educational programs tailored to their individual journeys. Should any concerns or issues arise during this transition, we encourage you to communicate them with the relevant personnel. If you believe a different program would better suit your child's needs, please reach out to us.
Should you encounter any challenges related to your child's education, please don't hesitate to seek support. We are committed to assisting you and your child in any way possible.
ORANGE GROUP
We would like to formally welcome Ebony Tate to the team who will be working with our Orange Group on a permanent basis for this term. The group had a great time baking Anzac biscuits in the kitchen this week and are making solid progress on their learning goals.
NEW PHONE NUMBERS
Due to phone updates, several staff members (Kim, Sue, Ebony and Sallie) will have new phone numbers which they will reach out to parents and share. Please be on the lookout for these messages.
A final reminder that there are no classes tomorrow (Thursday 25 April) due to the ANZAC Day Public Holiday.
Thanks for your ongoing support,
Dan Garner
