Greater Wester Volleyball

Congratulations to our Senior Boys & Girls Volleyball teams on winning the Greater Western Region Title yesterday, they both will now travel to Melbourne on Friday 17th May to compete against some of the state’s best volleyballers.

The Girls started their match against Daylesford slowly losing the first set, from then on, they really turned things around playing some amazing Volleyball and were able to win the 2nd set by two points and forcing the match into a 3rd and final set.  The girls confidence grew and the teamwork on display was exceptional, they really turned it on winning this set 15 to 4.

The boys played two matches against Daylesford and Kings College Warrnambool, and they too played exceptionally well winning both their matches.  The game against Daylesford was close taking three sets to get over a very good opponent.  The 2nd game against Kings College was won in two sets.

A big thank you to Kara for giving up her day to coach both teams and well, done to all players you have done an amazing job winning GWR against some very good opponent’s we now look forward to Melbourne.
