Year 12 News

Welcome to Term 2

It was great to welcome back the Year 12 cohort after the holiday break. We hope that students are feeling refreshed and ready to commence what will no doubt be a busy Term 2.

During the last week of Term 1 our Academic Support Counsellor Jenna Argall presented a lunchtime Study Skills session to Year 12 students. Jenna provided invaluable tips with regards to time management and study hints for the holiday break and the remainder of this school year.

We thank our Chaplain Yolande Grosser who prepared a delicious Easter morning tea for the last day of Term 1. Students enjoyed a vast range of Easter cakes and other Easter treats as they celebrated the end of term with their teachers.

Rugby Tops

It was an exciting time for Year 12 students as they received their rugby jumpers this week, just in time for the cooler weather. A reminder that students who haven’t paid will need to do so in the Administration Office before receiving their jumpers.

Academic Support

Students are reminded that a variety of subject areas offer additional after school support opportunities. Maths and Biology provide after school sessions on Mondays, with English and Psychology on Thursdays. Students can opt to attend for a few minutes or alternatively stay for the entire session.

In addition, we encourage students to make use of the Study Centre which is open after school until 4.30pm. This is a quiet and warm place to study.

Drive to School Forms

An increasing number of students are turning 18. Students are reminded that they need to collect and return a ‘Drive to School’ permission form if they wish to drive to school.

The Year 12 Team wishes all students the very best for Term 2.
