Bakers Shop

Bakers Shop students have been working through their unit of Key Ingredients to understand the uses of them through their baking.

 

They have started their cake baking productions, to practice their skills for their birthday cake design CAT.

 

Students spent a lesson practicing the technique of chocolate filagree piping. It was more difficult for student to keep a stead, even hand than they thought. Students have kept their pieces to incorporate into their cupcake decorating next week.

 

Students have also produced a chocolate chiffon cake with chocolate ganache using eggs as a leavening agent and being introduced another product for decorating cakes using a chocolate drip.
