Polding Swimming

Congratulations to Fletcher and Zach Andrews who competed in the Polding Swimming last week. Both boys did a great job at representing their school.

 

Weekly Sport

There is no Friday sport this week because it is a Pupil-Free Day.

 

Diocesan Cricket

On Wednesday, four students will participate in the Diocesan Cricket trials in Tamworth—best wishes to Riley Woodward, Leo Schiller, Albert Taylor and Wez Buxton. We look forward to hearing how you went.

 

Diocesan Touch Trials

This Wednesday, ten students will travel to Tamworth for the Diocesan Touch Trials. Best wishes to the following students: Harper Will, Millie Dyer-Cleal, Cali O’Connor, Sophia Clarke, Jordi Cummins, Digby Roger, Fletcher Andrews, Ben de Stefani, Liam Guest and Fletcher White. We look forward to hearing about this experience.

 

CPS Swimming

Congratulations to Fletcher and Zach Andrews for participating in the CPS Swimming carnival in Sydney last Wednesday. Both boys swam very well. It is tough competition at that level. Well done!

 

King Fit

Next Term, Kindergarten will participate in King Fit for Sport on Fridays. The cost for this will be $5 each week. There will be more information about this sent home early next Term.

Diocesan Cross Country

The Diocesan Cross Country will be held in Barraba on Friday 17 May. Travel will be by private transport and it is up to parents to get their own child to the event. If your child came in the top 6 places today, they will be eligible to attend. Students will walk the course at 10:00am and the first race will start at 10:45am (8/9yrs). Cost is $8.00 - this is a compulsory levy. A canteen will be operating on the day. 

The Carnival will be held at the Barraba Sports Ground (Rugby grounds), 175 Trevallyn Road Barraba. The Polding Cross Country will be held at Eastern Creek in Sydney on Wednesday 5 June. Students must be available to get their own way to this next level of trials in Sydney, as there will be no bus.

Secondary Sport

Secondary Cross Country

The Year 7-10 cross country will be on Thursday during sport, students will walk to the starting point of the race and run along the river path to the complex. The cross country will start at 1:30 PM.
