Spotlight on F1 in Schools - Our STEM Club

Typhoon Racing Australia - The STEM Racing National Finals

Team Typhoon participated in the STEM Racing National Finals, held at St Bede’s College in Mentone and won the Best Engineering CAD - Professional section!

Teams underwent a rigorous technical evaluation of their car design, construction, and compliance with national regulations. Judges assessed everything from precision manufacturing design to regulatory adherence and technical understanding.

We are incredibly proud to share that Team Typhoon achieved an outstanding score of 74 out of 80 - a remarkable result that reflects the team’s dedication, attention to detail, and countless hours of design, testing, and refinement.

Throughout the day, the team demonstrated not only strong technical capability but also professionalism and composure under pressure. Their display booth and car presentation were a testament to their hard work, creativity, and commitment to excellence.

Although they did not win a place in the world finals in Singapore, Homestead is so proud of the team and their achievements. We encourage all of our readers to follow @typhoonracing.aus on Instagram to learn more about this team and their adventures.
