Please join us this Sunday, 29th March at 9.00am for our Family Mass. Students are involved in the Mass through reading and the offertory. All families are invited to attend and celebrate Mass as a Parish community. Students from Years 2 and 5 are asked to bring morning tea to share.
Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week. It commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem on a donkey, where crowds welcomed him by spreading palm branches and cloaks. It symbolises peace and victory, celebrating Jesus as King while beginning the transition into the Passion.

Confirmation candidates will travel by bus to Armidale next Tuesday, 31st March to attend the Chrism Mass. The students have already consented on Compass. Please meet Mrs Clarke, Miss Maguire & Mrs Duffy in the bus shelter, ready to leave at 8.45am. Please bring a hat, packed lunch, morning tea and a water bottle.
The Chrism Mass is a significant Catholic liturgical celebration, held during Holy Week, where the Bishop blesses three holy oils - the Oil of Chrism, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Oil of the Sick - used for sacraments throughout the year.
Project Compassion boxes are to be returned to school by the last day of this term (Thursday, 2nd April). Thank you.

We are very excited to give the students at St Edward’s Primary School the opportunity to participate in the 2026 NSW Premier’s Reading Challenge.
Every student at the Infants Campus will automatically be signed up for the challenge and read books from the challenge as part of their class and library sessions.
Primary students wanting to participate in this year's challenge will need to see Mrs Michell in the library to sign up.
Students are encouraged to log onto the PRC website from home to log their books, or Mrs Michell can log them in the library. Students should now start to log books they have read and also discover books that are part of the PRC using the link above. If you have any problems with logging books or accessing, please reach out.
