Whole School Survey
As part of our continuous improvement process, Kambala will be providing an opportunity for parents (Hampshire House to Year 12) and students (Year 5 - Year 12) to provide feedback relating to their views of the school across a number of areas.
Parents will be invited to complete questionnaires over a two-week period commencing next Thursday 21 May. Students will complete their questionnaires at Kambala during this period.
Next Thursday 21 May, MMG Education will email you an invitation to participate and provide you with your confidential and secure access to your questionnaire.
At the conclusion of the research period, MMG will provide Principal Danvers with a report. There will be opportunities for members of the school community to receive feedback from the research.

Hampshire House Celebrates Wonderful Mothers
Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder to pause and honour the extraordinary women who shape our lives. Strong mothers, grandmothers, aunties, and female role models provide love, guidance, resilience, and unwavering support that nurtures not only their own children but entire communities. Their influence ripples far beyond the home, laying the foundation for confident, compassionate, and curious young learners.
At Hampshire House we view children as capable, curious, and full of potential. Central to Reggio Emilia is the recognition that learning is deeply relational. It thrives through strong connections between children, teachers, families, and the wider community. Mothers and significant female figures are seen as powerful co-constructors of knowledge. Their presence, stories, wisdom, and everyday interactions enrich the educational environment and help children develop a strong sense of identity, belonging, and respect.
This year, we had the joy of celebrating Mother’s Day with our Hampshire House mothers on Tuesday 4th May. Our Harbourview rooms were filled with warmth, laughter, and the delicious aroma of muffins and danishes, as mothers and children came together to share a meaningful morning.
The atmosphere was made even more magical by our Year 5/6 Quartet of Iris Pu, Molly Wang, Evelyn Chappel and Lingyi Jiang, under the guidance of Mrs Lizzie Spencer. Their talented performance created a lovely backdrop that everyone truly appreciated. Thank you to each member of the quartet for sharing your musical gifts with us!
One of the highlights of the morning was watching mothers and children engage in shared activities together. Working side-by-side on creative projects reinforced the Reggio Emilia belief in collaboration and the power of meaningful relationships. The children’s faces lit up with pride as they presented their mothers with special handmade gifts which they had poured their hearts into creating. From personalised cards and artworks to thoughtful keepsakes, these handmade treasures reflected the children’s deep affection and the time they invested in making something unique for their beautiful mothers.
To all the incredible mothers and strong women in our children’s lives, thank you. Your love, strength, and daily presence are the greatest gifts of all. You inspire us every day to create a learning community where relationships are valued, voices are heard, and every child is celebrated.
