Dear Secondary Team,

A few important reminders as we continue through another productive and engaging week:

Yard Duty: Please ensure you are on time for your scheduled yard duty and have the latest version of the roster on display. If you are running late for 1:1 supervision, notify the classroom immediately. For general playground supervision, please inform me as soon as possible if you are delayed or unable to attend your duty for any reason. If you have any uncertainties regarding your responsibilities, feel free to approach me—I’m happy to assist. Being punctual and present is crucial to ensuring the safety and support of our students.

SSG Meetings: SSG meetings are still taking place this and next week. From my discussions with many of you, it’s been fantastic to hear how positive and collaborative these sessions have been. Strengthening the connection between teachers and families plays a key role in enhancing student outcomes. If any families have yet to book a meeting, please reach out to them to ensure every student and their family  has the opportunity for this important discussion.

Seesaw Updates: Ahuge thank you to everyone who has been consistently uploading photos and updates of student learning and classroom activities. Parents and carers truly appreciate these insights into their child’s school experience, and it provides them with reassurance that their children are engaged, learning, and supported. Just a reminder to continue aiming for at least one post per student per week to maintain this valuable communication.

Essential Assessment

Please complete these assessments for English and Maths. These can also be printed if required. The report from these assessments will inform your IEP goals. There is a section which indicates what the students have not understood in each curriculum area and this should be their goal for this term. I am happy to support you if needed. 

Teaching and Learning Programs are due every Monday at 9am. Please

Contact me if you are unable to upload them on time. I can support you with this.

Maintenance Programs and DISPLAN are overdue. If you haven’t uploaded them, I will be approaching you to further support you.
