As we embark on another exciting year at Wyndham College, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new students, parents, and carers who have joined our school community. We are thrilled to have you with us and look forward to supporting you on your educational journey. To our returning Year 12 students and families, welcome back. This is a crucial year for you, and we are here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.

Our school is a dynamic and engaging learning environment, and there are many opportunities to get involved. We encourage all students and parents to stay updated by following our social media pages, where you will find information on upcoming events, key dates, and ways to connect with the Wyndham College community. One of the first major events on our calendar is the Meet and Greet with school staff—an excellent opportunity to meet your teachers and gain insights into the year ahead. Keep an eye on our updates so you don’t miss it.

For our Year 12 students, now is the time to settle back into productive routines as the next round of assessments approaches. These assessments will be clustered around Focus Week, running from 17th March to 21st March (Week 8 of this term). We encourage students and parents to refer to the Year 12 Assessment Handbook for specific details on expectations and deadlines. Consistent effort and organisation now will ensure you stay on top of your studies and perform at your best.

I am also delighted to introduce our new Principal, Ms Kristine MacPhail, who has joined the Senior Executive team this year. Kristine brings a wealth of experience and expertise in High Potential and Gifted Education, and we are excited about the fresh perspectives and opportunities she will bring to Wyndham College. I look forward to working collaboratively with her to build on our strong foundation and continue enhancing the learning experiences for all students.

Let’s make this year one of growth, achievement, and community spirit. We are excited for all that 2025 holds and look forward to working together to support our students in reaching their full potential.
