Principals Message

Dear parents and carers,

I’m so proud of the students who participated in the events at the Swimming Carnival. From those who could only just swim 25 metres to those who blitzed the 50 metre races in graceful style, their desire to do their best was evident. Thank you to the Year 6 students who jumped in the water and assisted with the novelty events. The cheering lasted all day and students made a real effort to dress up in house colours.

At one point I called for helpers to fill the gaps in relay teams and I was inundated with offers from so many students who eagerly volunteered to swim for another team. That was school spirit in action! 

We are so proud of our inclusive school community and the many parents who support us by helping out and walking beside us to continue to grow a wonderful culture of care and support. 

What a great start to the school year at St Xavier’s.
