Year 12 - a great start!

by Ms Arabella Thompson, Year 12 Coordinator

The Year 12 students have kicked off their final year with a strong sense of connection and excitement! Their Year 12 Retreat was an unforgettable experience, giving them the chance to bond as a cohort, reflect on their journey, and set personal and academic goals for the year ahead.

Through team-building activities, shared laughter, and heartfelt conversations, they strengthened their friendships and created lasting memories, as well as discussing how they can support each other this year. A visit to the zoo added to the fun, allowing them to relax and enjoy a day of exploration together.

Back at school, the spirit of camaraderie continued with a special Valentine’s Day celebration. Students exchanged heartfelt cards, sharing messages of appreciation and support for one another—an uplifting reminder of the friendships that will carry them through their final year.

Looking ahead, we can’t wait to see their creativity shine at the upcoming swimming carnival! With a tradition of fun and friendly competition, we’re sure their costumes and team spirit will make a splash.

I am gradually observing each class to see these students excel in all different ways – I am really excited to see our amazing students in different environments.
