Principal's Message

Mobile Phones

A reminder to all parents and students that mobile phones MUST be handed in at the office before school and collected at 3.30pm. They will be locked away in the safe. No child should be using a phone during school hours. If a child needs to contact a parent, they can come to the office, and we will organise a call. It would be appreciated if you could reinforce this with your child.

This also includes contacting parents via the childs iPad.

Prep Enrolments 2026

We are already planning for 2026! We are again receiving a great response and many inquiries for enrolment forms for Preps 2026. To ensure we have enough space for siblings in our school, I ask that parents with a child who will begin school next year organise an appointment with myself as soon as possible so I can chat with parents and meet your little one. During this appointment we can help organise any services or support that is needed for your child to ensure everything is in place for the start of the 2026 year. This will allow us to plan ahead, as spaces in our school are limited. Please give Meagan a call in the office and arrange a suitable time. Many thanks in advance.

Lunchtime Activities

A number of our staff have kindly offered to run lunchtime activity clubs for interested students. I would like to thank these staff members who are giving up part of their lunch break to support our students. The following is a list of clubs available in Term 1:

Book Club, Bird Watching Club, NBA Club, Chess Club, Skipping Club and Mindfulness Club.

School Council Elections

We are seeking expressions of interest for the vacant Rollins School Council parent positions. Please contact the office for the various nomination forms. There are nomination reminders posted around the school. Nominations close on 4th March 2025 at 4pm. If the number of applications exceeds the number of positions, we will hold an election. 

Ambulance Cover

Just a reminder to parents that if we deem necessary, we will call an ambulance for your child- hopefully we never need to. If this is the case, there is no school cover for this call out. Perhaps it might be a good idea to ensure you have the appropriate cover to ensure you are not out of pocket.
