Dear Parents, Guardians and Kingswood Community,
Kingswood Art Exhibition Term 4
Some exciting news for your children and our community……We will be having a Kingswood Primary School Art Show in Term 4 from Monday the 27th Oct through to Friday 7th November 2025.
Each student will choose a piece or pieces of art that they are most proud of to put into the exhibition. They will choose from all the pieces of art that they have created during Visual Arts lessons throughout 2025.
This is why you are not seeing very much artwork come home or exhibited in the newsletter. That is so it’s a great surprise when you visit. All are welcome to come. More details to follow.
Kingswood Clothing
Often during Visual Arts lessons we are using paint where the students are instructed to wear a smock. During winter when they are wearing thick school jackets, they need to take them off in order to fit a smock. It has become a problem at the end of the lesson in all year levels where the jumpers have no names, blurred names and incorrect names. It takes time to try and sort it out and makes it difficult to return any stray jumpers. Please make sure all jumpers are clearly named in bold.
Other News
Thank you to Narelle (mother of Noah and Ivy) for preparing resources for the Preps for Japanese Day in Week 5. It is very much appreciated.
I am still looking for approximately 10 baby formula tins (washed if you can) for the Art Show. I have had absolutely none donated and would really appreciate these donations.
Other items needed: Magazines, Aerosol lids, spice jars, 8 ply wool.
Bread Tags - Kingswood Primary School will continue to be a collection point for plastic bread tags (the little squarish ones) until the end of the year 2025. These tags are recycled to make wheelchairs, a very worthy cause. Make sure you do not include cardboard tags. Please drop them off into the Art room or to the Office.
