Term 3 - Week

Swimming Program Wrap Up

That’s a wrap for another fantastic swimming program! Our students showed incredible progress, with great engagement and active participation throughout the lessons. Highlights included our Water Safety Day, where students challenged themselves by swimming fully clothed without goggles, and they enjoyed a fun day on the final day of swimming.

A big thank you to all the parents who visited during the weeks. It’s been wonderful to see students not only improving their water safety skills but also growing in independence.

Three Way Conferences

Three Way Conferences are scheduled for next week. These conferences are a valuable opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to come together to reflect on progress, celebrate successes, and set goals moving forward.

Our Creativity Hub will be open from 3:45 to 4:15 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday on Three Way conference week. Specialist teachers Kate, Sam, Eryn, Jess, and Steph M will be available for informal chats and will also be showcasing student work from Semester 1.

Feel free to drop in before or after your Three-Way Conference. We’d love to see you there!

Lunchtime Clubs Starting Next Week

Now swimming is finished, Lunchtime Clubs will begin next week! These clubs offer a fantastic opportunity for students to connect with their peers, build stronger friendships, and have a welcoming space to spend time if they prefer to be indoors during recess. For many students, a particular club becomes a weekly highlight they look forward to.

Thank you to the teachers for their continued dedication in running these clubs throughout the term. See timetable in Important Information section.

Parent Feedback from BYOD iPad to Leasing Chromebooks

Thank you to all families who shared feedback on our proposed move from BYOD iPads to school-managed Chromebooks. The survey showed strong overall support, along with valuable suggestions and questions.

The transition will begin with Grade 3 in 2026, while Grades 4–6 will continue using BYOD iPads until they complete primary school. To support families, we will hold a parent forum for 2026 Grade 3 families to provide more details and answer questions about the new model.

Families are warmly invited to join us and cheer on our Foundation students as they showcase their costumes and celebrate 100 days of learning and friendship at MPRPS.
