Three Year Old Kinder News
During our group time, we listened to story called Snow Wombat and learned that the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung word for Wombat is Warinj, which is pronounced war-in-ya. There was a lovely discussion afterwards about snow, animals we have seen at the zoo, and animals that we have seen when we’ve been camping. Some of us have even seen a wombat in the wild! The children are enjoying exploring the program as it is set up at the moment.
Four Year Old Kinder News
A big thank you to all the families who attended our parent-teacher interviews this week. It was a pleasure to chat with you about your child’s learning and progress at kinder. The children have been enjoying taking home the 'Show and Share' bag. We are learning so much about the children it's wonderful! The children are excited to have their turn to take the bag home.
Reminders
- Please label all clothing, we have a growing pile of nameless clothes at the sign in ipads. Please go through these as we will shortly be donating them to charity.
- Please ensure children are just bringing water for hydration to kinder so no juices or milk drinks please.
- Don't forget a warm coat for outdoor play!
