NAPLAN 2025

We are very proud of our Naplan results this year across English and Maths. With a major focus on Writing and Spelling across the school we are excited to see that our Year 5 students are performing well above average compared to both State and National Results.

In Year 3 our results are well above average in every subject area and we are especially pleased to see the great results in Maths, given the new program that was introduced last year in the junior years.

Congratulations to all Year 3 and 5 students who completed Naplan. It is encouraging for our families and staff to see such positive results and to know that our efforts and dedication to maintaining high standards of teaching has resulted in such positive growth for our students.

ART Print Making

In Art our students are learning about Print Making. They are learning about fingerprint art, which is a creative activity where fingerprints are used as the primary tool to create drawings, designs or patterns. It involves using fingers dipped in paint to make impressions on paper. The students created beautiful trees using pastels and then applied paint for the leaves using their fingerprints. This art form encourages creativity, fine motor skill development, and was a fun, engaging activity for all of the students.

Australian Mathematics Competition

This Wednesday and Thursday, students in Years 3 to 6 will be participating in the annual Australian Maths Competition here at school. We are incredibly proud of those who have chosen to take part, showing courage and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones. The competition offers a valuable opportunity not only to challenge mathematical thinking but also to learn more about perseverance, problem-solving, and personal growth. We commend all participants for embracing this experience with such a positive attitude.
