Zone Athletics Carnival
Last Friday, 65 of our students proudly represented our school at the Crossroads Zone Athletics Carnival, held at the Hunter Sports Centre, Glendale. Despite the challenging and very wet conditions, our athletes showed incredible determination, resilience and school spirit throughout the day.
We are thrilled to announce that many of our competitors achieved outstanding results, with numerous students finishing in the top three of their respective events. These exceptional performances have earned them a place at the upcoming Hunter Athletics Championship, to be held on Friday 5th September at the Hunter Sports Centre.

NSW PSSA Cross Country
On Wednesday, 23 July 2025, Elyse C proudly represented EPS and the Hunter region at the NSW PSSA Cross Country Championships. We are thrilled to announce that Elyse placed 3rd, earning a bronze medal in the 8/9 Years Girls Multi-Class event.

PSSA Netball Team
We are thrilled to share the fantastic achievements of our Edgeworth Public School junior netball team!
After an impressive performance over three gala days, the team secured a spot in the finals. Their hard work and determination paid off as they finished in 3rd place after two competitive games. We are incredibly proud of the sportsmanship and dedication shown by the girls throughout the year.
