Day for Daniel Reflection

On the 31st of October, Good Shepherd participated in raising money for the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Everybody wore a splash of red and we focused on child safety. 

We can’t wait to find out how much money we raised! 

Some activities classes did included watching videos on how to set boundaries, how to stay safe and the three R’s: Recognise, React, Report. The Year 6s also did a word search and cross word about Day for Daniel and child safety.  

Prep Yanko led a great Prayer of the Air about Day for Daniel and told us about ways that they feel safe. Day for Daniel is a good way to remember to stay safe, look out for our friends, and talk to adults we trust.
