Mental Health and Wellbeing for Parents

As parents, much of our day can be spend caring for others, especially our children and family. At times, this can feel like riding a rollercoaster as we ride the highs and lows of our children’s experiences, helping and supporting them navigate their individual journeys, all whilst on our own journey. Whilst this is an important and essential part of our parenting role, but it’s also important for us to ensure we set aside time for ourselves.

Below is an excellent resource from Beyond Blue. It is called the PACE Wellbeing Action Tool, an acronym for Pause, Act, Connect and Enjoy. It provides a range of example activities for each of the PACE wellbeing areas.
