On Monday, Dr Hawthorne and I met with all Year 7-10 students to update them on the new social media laws coming into effect on 10 December 2025. The main message to students was to start preparing early by saving photos and contacts and thinking about different ways to maintain connections with friends. We outlined the importance of these new laws and the reasons the Government has worked hard to ensure they come into effect this year. Students were directed to the eSafety website if they had any further questions. Please let me know if you require any additional information.
