Bentley 7s Carnival Recap

In Week 3, St Mary’s Catholic College proudly participated in the Bentley 7s Carnival, showcasing our students’ talent and sportsmanship across multiple disciplines.

On the Thursday, our teams competed in Netball and Soccer, followed by Volleyball and Rugby League on Friday.  Across all events, our students demonstrated outstanding effort, teamwork, and positive attitudes.

  • Our Year 9 and 10 Girls Netball Team reached the grand final, narrowly missing victory by just one goal.
  • The Year 7 and 8 Girls Netball team remained undefeated throughout the carnival and were crowned champions. Special congratulations to Arianna, who was named Player of the Grand Final.
  • Both our mixed soccer teams competed fiercely, and our Junior Mixed Soccer Team performed exceptionally well, advancing to the semi-finals and delivering a competitive match.
  • The Boys Rugby League Teams showed great determination, with several closely contested games. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr Piccolo for generously volunteering his time to support and coach.
  • The Junior Boys Volleyball Team delivered a remarkable performance throughout the carnival, emerging as grand final champions.

We commend all students for their dedication and spirit, and we thank our staff and volunteers for their invaluable support. Well done to everyone involved!
