Lifestyles Inquiry in Term 4

This term our inquiry focus is Lifestyles. Our whole school is investigating the questions,

Who am I? How does being healthy help me to belong, connect and grow?

Students at each level are exploring this through various hands-on experiences, including our junior parish sports, triathlon, concert, camps and our swimming program. With the change in weather, it is a great opportunity to deepen students' understanding of the positive impacts of a healthy lifestyle and connect this to their mindset around learning.

As well as our hands-on experiences, students will engage in explicit social and emotional learning, writing, and faith lessons. We ask parents to discuss the opportunities that students will have this term and encourage their children to try new things, take risks and move outside their comfort zone. This, along with our explicit learning, will support students to build resilience and help them grow and flourish in life and learning.
