End of Year Art Exhibition 

I wanted to thank everyone who attended our End of Year Art Exhibition. Your attendance, celebration, appreciation and engagement with our student artwork means so much to us and so much to the students. On behalf of my team and our students I say thank you, thank you, thank you!

To our Shelford artists, thank you for your hard work, determination, openness, creativity and the skill that you put into your artwork. Without you, there would be no show. You are why we love what we do! They say 'it takes a village to raise a child' and the same can be said of an End of Year Art Exhibition. I just wanted to make mention of my wonderful Visual Arts team, Simone Lewis and Narelle Bentley, who worked tirelessly to inspire our students with their knowledge, hard work and skill. I thank you so much for the sweaty non-stop week we have had and the mammoth effort you put in to presenting student works, so they could truly shine, while preparing our VCE students for their exams, amongst so many other responsibilities. Without you this night could not have been possible! 

Thank you to Lisa C, Kaine H, Stephen L, Melanie R Jessica C and Sarah L for supporting so many other aspects of running the event outside the presentation of artworks. I thank the different working groups from SPA for your contribution to the night. To a few individuals, I pass a special thank you; Nicola, Sarah, Ahila and Helen. And to our International parents, thank you for your hard work and culinary skills in making those delicious dumplings on the night which we all enjoyed! 

Final thanks to Anna Blatman for opening our Exhibition and inspiring the girls with your story. I am truly humbled to be involved in such a beautiful community.
