Social Media

Much has been written in recent days about the distressing, graphic imagery and content being circulated on several social media platforms in relation to the devastating war unfolding in the Middle East. Please continue to monitor or limit your children’s use of social media, being mindful of the potentially harmful impact of such content.

2024 House Leadership

Congratulations to many of our Year 10 students, who have put themselves forward for the 2024 House Leadership roles of HPA and Sport Captains. Applicants have completed written applications and at the time of writing this article were about to present speeches to their respective House members.  Houses will in the coming days complete the online voting process and I look forward to announcing our 2024 House Sport and HPA Leaders in the coming weeks. All the best to our candidates.

Uniform update

Towards the end of last term, I spoke to students about our Sport Uniform review and based on feedback some changes that would be introduced. Over the coming months as stock becomes available, the following items will be available:

  • Shelford navy trackpants (the pants will look the same as the current design but will be available in a women’s cut – providing a better fit for our students.)
  • Shelford navy polar fleece vest
  • Shelford navy long-sleeved training top (this may be worn on its own or under the polo top).

If you are making a special visit to Noones for any of the above items, please contact them in advance to confirm stock availability.

I am pleased to confirm also, that the new short-sleeve blouse and navy shorts are available in store at Noones. We are excited about these new additions to our academic uniform and to the choice and flexibility it will provide for all students.
